Feel free to skip over this part and get right to the fun stuff if you're not interested in adding interactive grids to your blog or website.
Have you noticed the interactive crossword grids on this tour?
If you blog about crosswords, or if you want to brag about one of your puzzle on your personal blog, you can easily add an interactive grid like the ones you see here. Answers can be displayed or hidden. You can view clues by mousing over the grid. See the XWord Blog home page for an example.
You need to have access to the "head" part of your web page, and you need to be able to inject a small JavaScript snippet into the body. When you're ready to dive in, the full details are here.
Update: Now that cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) is becoming more widely deployed, even on blog servers, you might need to use a slightly different approach to include the grid script. If you're having trouble, please contact me for help. There's a link on the home page.
Here are a few mostly random examples. Click to reveal answers and then click again to jump to the full solution.
